FASHION ICON AMAL AMEEN BECOMES THE FIRST QATARI MUSE OF ESME VIE

AL DANA EXPO OPENING CEREMONY COUNTS WITH AMAL AMEEN AS GUEST OF HONOR
Last week at the Qatar National Convention Center in Qatar Foundation, Sheikha Alanoud Bint Ghanem Al Thani launched the second edition of Al Dana Exhibition, in order to promote local talent and to support small and medium businesses in the community. The stands were filled specially with traditional outfits of all kinds and colors, with very original styles that follow the latest Gulf trends and showcase the Ramadan season. Also, jewelry and accessories brands were exhibited as well as many other local products that represent the women’s local creativity and are meant to stimulate the local trade.
Amal Ameen cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony acting as guest of honor and being herself an example of entrepreneurship in the Qatari society. She visited every stand showing interest in the many different works of the exhibitors and encouraging other women to keep on doing the great work that is enhancing the power of women in this rising society.

Amal Ameen, First proud owner to purchase the new Lexus LC 500 convertible
Driven by her passion towards the brand and specifically to the LC 500 convertible, Ms. Amal Ameen the Lexus Brand Ambassador was the first proud owner to purchase this piece of art as she described it, highlighting the Terrane Khaki colour with the Sand colour of the soft top.
A key handover ceremony was held during the official launching event of the Lexus LC 500 convertible. Followed by the handover, Ms. Amal Ameen and Mr. Firas Mufti unveiled 5 amazing canvas paintings which was graciously provided by the Triple Trend Art Gallery to be showcased in Lexus showroom. Ms. Amal Ameen stated “As a brand ambassador, I wanted to include my artistic touch to the brand by highlighting four different generations of the Lexus flagship sedan the, LS 400, LS 430, LS 460, LS 500. Since the LC convertible is the newest addition to the Lexus family, I wanted to highlight its beauty not only as a vehicle but also as a piece of art.”
The all-new Lexus LC Convertible is available in a choice of 12 different colors, including the newly developed yellow contrast layer that reflects the vehicle’s sporty performance, as well as 3 colors for the soft-top retractable roof.

SUMMER 2020 FASHION TRENDS

Over the years, fashion trends have been changing dramatically, according to the evolution of the world around us. Great fashion designers influenced this transformation and captured the world’s attention, positioning the fashion industry within the global market.
In the ’60s and ’70s, people experimented with styles that were influenced by music and social movements; bell-bottom pants, unbuttoned shirts, and flowing jumpsuits were the trend. By the ’80s and ’90s, people favored celebrity-inspired outfits, especially those worn by top models like Naomi Campbell or style icons like Princess Diana.
During the 2000s, fashion designers adopted all kinds of fashion trends from the past decades.
Some of the main trends during those years were: Frosted lip gloss, low-rise jeans, trucker hats or popcorn shirts. Last year, for example, trends like slip dresses, animal print and tiny handbags were popular again.
So what are we expecting for this summer 2020? There is a whole range of combinations for the fashion lovers like us! Shoes worn over pants, oversized Victorian-inspired sleeves, chunky boots with feminine dresses, maxi faux leather coats, matching printed tops with stockings or bucket-styled bags and oversized gold chain necklaces.
In addition to that, we cannot forget to mention the top summer color trends: The passionate “Flamme Scarlette”, the “Orange Peel” or “Saffron” colors that we can almost smell or the “Mosaic Blue” or “Faded Denim” that we wish to wear. DURING QUARANTINE,In the last months we have gone through extraordinary changes and a difficult
adaptation in simple things like greeting each other or socializing, which is
part of our nature. But change has not been the only condition, we had seen
how many opportunities have emerged around some businesses and how the
market has done a major shift suddenly.
One of the most beautiful things that happened lately is the transformation of
nature while recovering from the industrial impact. The world is full of colors
again and for the first time we all have “time”.
Time is a luxury, and now we are proving ourselves how many things we can do
with it. This is the moment to develop yourself in any skills or passions. It is
time to recycle, to design, to invent and to let your mind go free to challenge
your own creativity at home.
This month we had the pleasure to visit the Sakura lounge at Lexus, one of the
most elegant and peaceful places in Doha; to get inspired and to create a
beautiful artwork. The Japanese cherry blossom, or Sakura, has long been
adored by people across the globe. It is regarded as a symbol of regeneration,
energy and splendor. The amazing atmosphere of the lounge offers a perfect
harmony to trigger imagination and talent.
But remember: The simplest thing may become a piece of art if you do it with
all your heart, so challenge yourself and you will realize how much creativity
you have deep inside. Despite the fear, soon there will be new things to tell,
new battles to face and we all have to be ready to build a better future
together, so let’s embrace what we have and let’s turn the situation
to our own advantage.
Our International Women’s Day Celebration at the recently awarded Sakura Lounge by Lexus
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, last March 8th we hosted a private event with other professional women and friends at the best luxury automotive Lounge, Sakura, located at the Lexus headquarters.
The word Sakura means cherry blossom and it is regarded as a symbol of renewal, vitality, and beauty. The Lounge is inspired by the concept of Omotenashi, which is the Japanese spirit of hospitality that not only fulfills people’s needs, but anticipates them. The Sakura Lounge provides Lexus customers with a sophisticated, tranquil environment; the perfect place for an event dedicated to supporting women, taking into account that the automotive sector is usually more linked to men, so thank you Lexus!
The event counted with a great number of women who shared their views and expressed their opinions regarding gender equality in order to increase visibility on this matter. The event was meant to support a new conscientious generation of women who are proud to celebrate their own achievements and are willing to support other women by leading the way to a strong cooperation among them.
The Luxury Network hosted the event with Amal Ameen, the first ever Lexus Brand Ambassador in Qatar and with the support of other women’s businesses who made it possible. A series of lectures took place and each lady explained her own success story and shared the different troubles, ideas and moments of doubt that she lived to overcome challenges along the way.
